Please use the below frequently asked questions to help guide you through thread’s online training experience.
Training Reminder & Zoom Links
Will I receive a training reminder email?
- The email with the training reminder and Zoom link to access each training you are registered for is sent at least one business day prior to the training event date. Nevertheless, if the class registration fills up sooner, this email may be sent earlier.
- If you didn’t receive a training reminder at least one business day prior to the training event day, please first check your junk email to see if the email is there.
- If the reminder email isn’t in either your inbox or junk folder, please contact thread at 800.278.3723
- Please confirm the correct email address was entered when you registered for training. Frequently training reminder emails bounce back as undeliverable due to an incorrect email address.
I just registered for online training. When do I receive the Zoom link?
At least one business day prior to the training event day.
What do I do if I don’t receive the Zoom link?
- Check your junk folder prior to contacting thread.
- If the Zoom link email isn’t in either your inbox or junk folder, please contact thread at 800.278.3723
Training Certificates & Evaluations
Certificates
As a reminder, to qualify for a training certificate, you must meet all of the following conditions:
- Pre-registered for that specific training — you can register for thread training here.
- Attended the entire training and demonstrated full participation.
- Must have been visible and present on video camera for the entire class time.
- For classes which require a self-reflection, both the training and the self-reflection must have been completed (when applicable).
- The training evaluation was completed within 24 hours of the training.
How long does it take to receive a training certificate?
- In order to receive a certificate you must complete and submit an evaluation within 24 hours.
- Training certificates are sent to qualifying early educators within 30 business days of the training event date and may not be reissued.
What if I can’t locate my training certificate email?
- If you qualified to receive a training certificate and can’t find it in either your inbox or junk folder, please contact thread at 907.265.3100 find out your qualification status and/or when the training certificate was sent.
- For missing training certificates, you may submit a Transcript Request Form (Haga clic aquí para español) to receive additional documentation of the training you have completed through thread.
Can I request a duplicate certificate?
- Certificates are distributed at the time of class and are not reproduced.
- In lieu of a lost certificate, you can submit a Transcript Request Form for documentation of training.
- Fill out the evaluation within 24 hours.
Evaluation
What can I do if I didn’t fill out an evaluation within 24 hours of training?
- A training certificate will not be issued.
- Submit a Transcript Request Form for documentation.
When do I receive the evaluation link and code?
The link to the class evaluation and training code are provided at the end of each training. Please remain for the entire training in order to receive the link and training code.
Transcripts
- Please complete a Transcript Request Form (Haga clic aquí para español) and submit by email or fax to 907.265.3195.
- Transcripts are released within 10 business days of when the request is received
How long would it take to receive a transcript once I submit the documents?
Transcripts will be released within 10 business days of the request being received by thread staff.
