Job Description

The Alaska Botanical Garden is looking to hire a reliable, self-motivated, and natural leader to help manage our summer
camps. The Assistant Camp Manager primarily works with the camp counselors to ensure lessons and activities are ready
each day and that check-in and check-out run smoothly. The Assistant Manager will assist with group management and
teaching when needed. They are responsible for scheduling and greeting guest speakers, volunteers, creating weekly
newsletters and parent communication. Camp runs Monday-Friday and the Assistant Manger can expect to work
8:00am- 4:00pm; some evenings and weekends may be required. Starting date is flexible but they should be available no
later than May 19th to help plan and schedule staff training weeks.
