Abbie Bonney, CRIS, ARM
Abbie Bonney is vice president, regional vice president for IMA Financial Group Inc.’s Alaska office. She manages the operations and client service excellence of the Alaska office and is an account executive, working directly with clients on account marketing plans and ongoing insurance matters throughout the year.
Abbie collaborates with IMA’s account team to develop, analyze, and implement a comprehensive insurance program tailored to meet a client’s individual needs. She prepares IMA’s marketing submission used by underwriters to develop the terms, coverages, and pricing of the insurance program. Throughout the policy term, she coordinates the processing of all necessary documents that keep the insurance program current, including endorsements, audits, certificates of insurance, invoices, and premium allocations.
Abbie works with accounts in industries, including construction, non-profit organizations, and professional services. She has the Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS) and Associate in Risk Management (ARM) professional designations.
Abbie began her insurance career in 2007 as a customer service representative in Seattle, Washington, and moved to Alaska in the winter of 2010. Abbie earned her bachelor’s degree in finance, general management, and human resources management from Eastern Washington University.
