thread<\/strong>, Alaska\u2019s Child Care Resource & Referral organization, announces a transition of services in the Northern\/Interior region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This month, thread <\/strong>is transitioning to a new business model of unity. thread <\/strong>is moving away from a formal partnership with Thrivalaska and is unifying thread services under one organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2008, thread <\/strong>partnered with AEYC Southeast (SEA-AEYC) in Southeast Alaska and ThrivAlaska in the Northern\/Interior of Alaska to deliver thread <\/strong>services in a statewide Network. Through this three-sister organizational structure, thread <\/strong>services have grown and expanded to better serve the early childhood education community over the years. We are proud of this partnership and its successes but recognize that the COVID-19 pandemic changed how we work, engage in services, and communicate. The challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and growth brought us an opportunity to better connect Alaskan families and early educators to thread <\/strong>services and expertise across the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This transition aims to achieve the greatest impact for more accessible, affordable, high-quality early childhood education. The thread <\/strong>Network organizations have made this transition together so we can continue our commitment to providing all Alaskans the best service possible. We look forward to new ways of partnership with SEA-AEYC and Thrivalaska in our aligned work to support early childhood education in Alaska.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thrivalaska will continue as a private nonprofit and early childhood service provider in the Northern\/Interior region. thread <\/strong>services will remain the same and we will continue providing the best services to Alaska\u2019s families, early educators, and child care programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
