Recipients of this award are licensed child care programs that are demonstrating a strong commitment to continuous quality improvement and have made exceptional progress in the past year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Congratulations to <a href=\"\/thread\/educators-and-programs\/recognition-awards\/thread-awards\/qi-program-award\/center-program-of-the-year\/\">Coast-to-Coast Kidcare<\/a><strong> <\/strong>who was recognized as the 2023 Quality Improvement Program of the Year for Family Home Child Care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Congratulations <a href=\"\/thread\/educators-and-programs\/recognition-awards\/thread-awards\/qi-program-award\/center-program-of-the-year\/\">Petersburg Children\u2019s Center<\/a> for being recognized as the 2023 Quality Improvement Program of the Year for a Child Care Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Cindy Harrington Heart &amp; Mind Award<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Cindy Harrington Heart &amp; Mind Award recognizes an individual currently employed in early childhood education who exhibits strength of character, commitment to excellence, professional determination, and an impassioned spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Congratulations to <a href=\"\/thread\/educators-and-programs\/recognition-awards\/thread-awards\/cindy-harrington-award\/2022-cindy-harrington-heart-and-mind-award-recipient\/\">Juliet Bitanga, owner of Juliet\u2019s Daycare<\/a> who was awarded the 2023 Cindy Harrington Heart &amp; Mind Award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Thank You<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>thread <\/strong>would like to thank this event\u2019s generous sponsors: Conoco Phillips, Credit Union 1, United Way of Anchorage, First National Bank of Alaska, the Alaska Community Foundation, and the Anchorage Association for the Education of Young Children (AAEYC) for their support of this event.
