Ask the House Finance Committee to Increase Child Care Investment in the Proposed FY24 Operating Budget.<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

In a series of meetings this week, the House Finance Committee will be hearing public testimony on the State of Alaska FY24 House Operating Budget (HB39).<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now is the time for child care providers, early educators and families to testify and ask the House Finance Committee to increase state investment in early learning and child care. As federal relief funding for child care sunsets, it’s critical that child care programs can keep their doors open, and early educators stay in the field. Increased state investment is needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
