FY24 House Operating Budget (HB39).<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\nNow is the time for child care providers, early educators and families to testify and ask the House Finance Committee to increase state investment in early learning and child care. As federal relief funding for child care sunsets, it’s critical that child care programs can keep their doors open, and early educators stay in the field. Increased state investment is needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These critical resources play a vital role in our children\u2019s future!<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Federal relief funding has helped child care to keep its doors open, but it is soon sunsetting. Ask the House Finance Committee to increase state investment in child care to soften the impact of expiring federal relief funding and ensure child care can continue to keep its doors open serving Alaska’s families and young children.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
