The State of Alaska Department of Health and Social Services<\/a> (DHSS) is hosting a free online family leadership training and is looking for caregivers to participate!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This opportunity is for any primary caregiver who is supporting young children up to the age of four in the following communities only: Copper Center, Dillingham, Fairbanks, Homer, Juneau, Kenai\/Soldotna, Kodiak, Mat-Su Valley, Norton Sound, Seward, Sitka, Valdez or Yakutat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Primary caregivers include mothers, fathers, grandparents, partners, and foster parents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Training modules topics include parental stress, effective video conferencing, advocacy, storytelling, special education and more!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trainings take place online from March through April, and include on-your-own study as well as real-time meetings.  Participants will:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
