{"id":37503,"date":"2020-12-15T22:47:00","date_gmt":"2020-12-16T07:47:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/staging2.threadalaska.org\/thread-blog\/give-your-feedback-on-proposed-amendments-to-early-learning-guidelines-3\/"},"modified":"2020-12-15T22:47:00","modified_gmt":"2020-12-16T07:47:00","slug":"give-your-feedback-on-proposed-amendments-to-early-learning-guidelines-3","status":"publish","type":"thread-blog","link":"https:\/\/www.threadalaska.org\/thread-blog\/give-your-feedback-on-proposed-amendments-to-early-learning-guidelines-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Give Your Feedback on Proposed Amendments to Early Learning Guidelines"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The State of Alaska Department of Education and Early Development (DEED) is considering adopting&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.alaskaelg.org\/\">State of Alaska Early Learning Guidelines (ELG)<\/a>&nbsp;regulation changes and wants YOUR feedback!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alaska\u2019s ELG, released last January, spells out what Alaska\u2019s children should know and be able to do at the end of four critical stages of development (18 months, 36 months, 60 months and kindergarten entry).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Proposed amendments to the ELG include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/aws.state.ak.us\/OnlinePublicNotices\/Notices\/Attachment.aspx?id=125038\">Additional regulation notice information<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/aws.state.ak.us\/OnlinePublicNotices\/Notices\/Attachment.aspx?id=125039\">Pre-elementary school guidelines implementation<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>After the public comment period ends, DEED will either adopt the proposed regulation changes, or decide to take no action.
