\n\tAlaska has one of the highest per capita rates of child abuse and neglect in the nation, but we can all work to change that. Start by wearing blue on Go Blue Day\u2014Friday, April 6, 2018<\/strong>\u2014to raise awareness of National Child Abuse Prevention Month. Communities across the state are also hosting rallies on April 6 to show their support. You can participate by attending a Go Blue Day rally in your community:<\/p>\n \n\tThe theme of month is “30 ways to Strengthen Families.” Throughout the month you will hear more about Strengthening Families, an evidence-based framework for preventing child abuse and neglect by focusing on family strengths.
