Events across the nation raise awareness about issues children face such as access to quality early care and learning, poverty, child abuse and neglect, and access to quality health care. The idea of the initiative is to educate those in attendance about these challenges and how important it is for communities to continue to invest in children.<\/p>\n<p>\tThis Friday, October 21, 2016, make plans to attend Thrivalaska&#8217;s Step Up For Kids event in Fairbanks from 5:30 &#8211; 7:30 pm at the Carol Brice Family Center.
