April is National Child Abuse Prevention month<\/a>, a nationwide
\n effort to raise public awareness about and take a stand against child abuse and neglect.\u00a0

In recognition of this special month, thread <\/strong>joins the Alaska Children\u2019s Trust<\/a> in asking Alaskans to be that one who makes a difference in a child\u2019s life. When one person makes the decision to step into a child\u2019s life, they can
\n help prevent abuse or neglect, and make an impact in ways they could ever imagine. <\/p>\n

And there\u2019s so many ways to get involved\u2026mentoring, volunteering and more. <\/p>\n
