Governor’s Task Force on Child Care<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

thread<\/strong>‘s CEO, Stephanie Berglund, serves on the current Governor Task Force on Child Care, a group tasked with exploring policy solutions around cost of care, wages, and more for the state.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Alaska Early Childhood Advocacy Group (AECAG)<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

To increase advocacy capacities at the local and state levels, thread <\/strong>participates on the Alaska Early Childhood Advocacy Group (AECAG) with Best Beginnings<\/a>, Association for the Education of Young Children Alaska<\/a> affiliates, the Alaska Head Start Association<\/a>, Alaska Infant Learning Professionals Association<\/a>, Parents as Teachers State Office<\/a>, and All Alaska Pediatric Partnership<\/a>. AECAG priorities focus on quality early care and learning, strengthening families, and community engagement and early literacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
