{"id":41782,"date":"2025-01-13T15:58:20","date_gmt":"2025-01-14T00:58:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.threadalaska.org\/?post_type=jobs&#038;p=41782"},"modified":"2025-01-13T15:58:34","modified_gmt":"2025-01-14T00:58:34","slug":"children-services-coordinator","status":"publish","type":"jobs","link":"https:\/\/www.threadalaska.org\/jobs\/children-services-coordinator\/","title":{"rendered":"Children Services Coordinator"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>This position ensures a comprehensive preschool program for infants and toddlers as regulated by the State of Alaska Child Care Program Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>JOB DUTIES<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Implements an approach to child development that is appropriate for the care of infants and<br>toddlers and one that supports social and emotional development, physical development, cognitive<br>and language skills, and overall health and well-being.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provides for the activities and duties of Primary Teachers and Teacher Aides to include task<br>assignment, orientation, and evaluating work performance in their absence.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Understand the development of children, the ability to care for children, and the skills to work<br>with children, family members, department staff, community agencies, and staff of the childcare<br>facility.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assists with the curriculum in the childcare classrooms as needed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinates lesson plan development for all the components required of the childcare program.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Records payments for childcare services and submits to the Program Assistant in a timely and<br>accurate manner.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop a center-based program that promotes child health and safety.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Works in the classroom, as licensing ratio requires.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Facilitates effective enrollment of center-based families.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Follows state regulations for reporting child abuse and neglect.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintains a safe and positive learning environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The incumbent of this position must work well under pressure and meet multiple and conflicting<br>deadlines.
