{"id":41049,"date":"2024-07-31T11:09:32","date_gmt":"2024-07-31T19:09:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.threadalaska.org\/?post_type=jobs&#038;p=41049"},"modified":"2024-07-31T11:09:33","modified_gmt":"2024-07-31T19:09:33","slug":"toddler-teacher","status":"publish","type":"jobs","link":"https:\/\/www.threadalaska.org\/jobs\/toddler-teacher\/","title":{"rendered":"Toddler Teacher"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Plan and carry out a daily program designed to meet the physical and developmental needs of Toddler aged children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Primary Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Maintain a physical environment conducive to children\u2019s growth and development.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work with Assistant Teacher(s) to create and facilitate lesson plans and implement appropriate developmental experiences.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Consider and provide for the individual needs of each child in relationship to their cultural and socioeconomic background, emotional or physical handicaps, and individual learning style.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Respect the dignity and basic rights of each child.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Help children learn to adapt to and cope with real-life situations; to develop appropriate habits in such activities as eating, dressing, napping, and personal hygiene.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make daily observations of the health of children, reporting conditions which require attention.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain progress records on the emotional, physical, social and intellectual development of assigned children.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, conferences, workshops, and other career development professional activities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist with monthly center newsletter.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Performs other duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Minimum Requirements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or a Child Development Associate (CDA) certification.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Two (2) years\u2019 experience working as a Childcare Teacher\/Teacher Assistant.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Food Worker Card, preferred.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to lift and move up to sixty (60) pounds.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must pass a state and federal background check.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>CPR and First Aid Certification.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>General Information:<br>Location: 4401 E Palmer-Wasilla Hwy., Wasilla, AK 99654<br>Supervisor: Operations Manager<br>Schedule: Monday \u2013 Friday; 10:00 am \u2013 6:00pm<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","jobs_category":[38],"class_list":["post-41049","jobs","type-jobs","status-publish","hentry","jobs_category-non-thread"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v24.0 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>Toddler Teacher - Thread<\/title>\n<meta name=\"robots\" content=\"index, follow, max-snippet:-1, max-image-preview:large, max-video-preview:-1\" \/>\n<link rel=\"canonical\" href=\"https:\/\/www.threadalaska.org\/jobs\/toddler-teacher\/\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:locale\" content=\"en_US\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:type\" content=\"article\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:title\" content=\"Toddler Teacher - Thread\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:description\" content=\"Plan and carry out a daily program designed to meet the physical and developmental needs of Toddler aged children.
