JOB SUMMARY: Provides wraparound services for children and families in a supportive housing location. This position will work with the Supportive Housing team and Early Education Teacher to offer resources and referrals to families and connect them with early learning and educational services. In conjunction with the Early Education Teacher, the Education Specialist will deliver high-quality early care and learning experiences for young children in the drop-in care center and promote a healthy relationship between families and their community by implementing a strengths-based approach to family services. They will also develop relationships with community partners and host family events that reflect the needs and interests of the families in the program. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

POSITION TYPE\/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or hours vary with location. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
