SUMMARY: Working with children between the ages of 6 weeks and 12 years (depending on classroom assignment), Teacher IV positions provide the primary leadership role in implementing activities and supervision for a set classroom, as well as taking a leadership role for their assigned age group (infant \u2013 school age). They are also required to maintain safe supervision and sanitary practices at all times, and actively plan and work towards promoting the development of children in their care according to required Municipality of Anchorage) MOA licensing, and the Child Development Center (CDC) standards. A Teacher IV is required to confidently lead activities and routines all throughout the day, lead coworker\u2019s practice within their assigned classroom, and informing the practice of the center. This position receives 120 hours of new staff training to learn or review the standards of working at our licensed child care center at Woodland Park.
