We are looking for motivated individuals who are responsible, creative, energetic, warm, organized, dependable, and team players. You must be patient, kind, and enjoy working with young children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Daily tasks would include the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Plan and implement a daily program based on established curriculum.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supervise all activities to ensure safety at all times.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Daily classroom cleaning.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist in implementing cleanliness and hygiene for the children.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Interacting with students throughout the day.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Education and\/or Previous Experience Required:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A current CDA, Montessori Certificate, or Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Previous teaching or early childhood education experience<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Understand ages and stages<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to recognize children\u2019s learning styles<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Teach math\/number application<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Understanding of the usage of phonics in teaching<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Working with children to enhance socialization skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Available to work Monday through Friday<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Able to lift 40 lbs. each day<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pass a background check<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have reliable transportation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>CPR\/First Aid certified<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete annual Municipality of Anchorage required professional development training<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Perks for working at Joan\u2019s Preschool Center:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Excellent competitive salary with increased starting pay for applicable teaching backgrounds and level of education<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Room for advancement<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Paid time off after 1 year for full-time employees<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Paid holidays after 90 days<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fun and healthy work environment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Outdoor time spent in the sunshine<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hands-on and active daily programming<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>To be considered for an interview, please email your current resume which includes relevant work history, credentials, training, or education in early childhood education, and a cover letter.
