There will be a second application period for Quality Initiatives in the first quarter of 2024.<strong>&nbsp;thread\u2018s <\/strong>Quality Initiative (QI) program provides early childhood education programs and early educators the opportunity to participate in professional development around a specific early care and learning topic. All QIs involve developing goals that support continuous quality improvement, participation in educational opportunities, technical assistance, and financial assistance.<br><br><strong>thread <\/strong>is excited to offer the follow Quality Initiatives for fiscal year 2024:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>New\/Startup Licensed Child Care<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Infant &amp; Toddler<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Accreditation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reimagine Your Outdoor Environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are an early childhood education new\/existing owner, program administrator, and active in the Alaska SEED registry you may be eligible to apply. Quality Initiative applications are accepted based on eligibility, meeting the intent of the Quality Initiative, and a short interview while funding allows. Consideration will be given to statewide representation and priority to programs that did not receive a Quality Initiative during the last two fiscal years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For more information join&nbsp;<strong>thread&nbsp;<\/strong>for a FY24 Quality Initiative Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) Session from 6:30 pm \u2013 8:00 pm on Thursday, September 28.
