This year, <strong>thread<\/strong> encourages you, Alaska\u2019s early childhood educators, to practice<br \/>\ndaily wellness and self-care. Every day you support our young children in their healthy development and for that we say \u201cThank You.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Your self-care is critical for the work that you do, because it:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reduces stress during challenging situations, allowing you to focus on positive learning and development<\/li>\n<li>Encourages creative expression and clear-mindedness<\/li>\n<li>Builds resiliency for you to do the work you love<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To help you begin, or continue, your wellness journey, <strong>thread <\/strong>is providing you with a yoga mat!
