We are excited to announce the launch of the ServicePortal! Designed to streamline access to thread’s services, the ServicePortal serves as a centralized hub for our customers. It integrates services provided by the statewide systems managed by thread, including the Alaska SEED Registry, and training offered by thread. Learn and Grow functionalities are not yet available but will be rolled out in the future.
With the closure of the Alaska SEED portal in November 2022, customers can now conveniently apply for and renew their Alaska SEED Registry membership directly through the ServicePortal. Featuring an enhanced user experience and intuitive navigation, the ServicePortal enables users to effortlessly update information, upload education and training documents with their Alaska SEED Registry application and register for thread training.
Key Features and Benefits
As of May 2024, clients can enjoy the following benefits through the ServicePortal:
- Register for thread training.
- Cancel a training session.
- See what training sessions you are waitlisted for.
- Register your staff for training.
- Join the Alaska SEED Registry.
- Renew your Alaska SEED registration.
- Access to download and print copies of Alaska SEED Career Ladder certificates and thread training certificates.
- Edit your employment history.
- Edit your contact information.
- Opt in or out of text and email communications.
Getting Started
If you have maintained an active Alaska SEED Registry within the past four years, keep an eye out for an email from thread or threadsalesforce@threadalaska.org with the subject line “Welcome to the ServicePortal.” This email will contain a welcome message along with a link to initiate your account setup. Your username will typically match your email address, with “.thread” added to the end (e.g., testuser@gmail.com.thread).
New members can begin their journey by visiting the ServicePortal Registration Page and selecting “Not a member?” below the login button. Complete the registration form, agree to the Terms & Conditions, and click Register to create your account. Upon successful registration, you will be redirected to your home page.
