Career Ladders
Alaska SEED and its partners have developed two career ladders for early childhood/school-age professionals and early intervention/infant learning program professionals. First, join the Alaska SEED Registry to determine your placement on the appropriate ladder. You can track your progress along the Alaska SEED Career Ladder by updating your Alaska SEED Registry account whenever you complete professional development.
Early Childhood (EC) and School-age (SA)
This career ladder is for professionals working in child care facilities, including military and tribal child care; school district pre-K and elementary school classrooms (K-3); Head Start/Early Head Start programs, school-age only programs; in-home visiting; or Early Childhood degree-seeking students.
Early Intervention/Infant Learning Program (EI/ILP)
This career ladder is for professionals looking to provide early intervention services to children ages birth to 3 who qualify for special education services under Part C of IDEA.
