The following broadcast was released by the Alaska Department of Health Child Care Program Office on August 21, 2024.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Child Care Program Office (CCPO), in partnership with the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) Institute of Social and Economic Research (ISER), is pleased to share the 2023 Market Price Survey (MPS) Report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Child Care Providers participated in the MPS between October and November of 2023. The MPS final report can be located on thread\u2019s <\/strong>website here<\/a> or by navigating to the News<\/a> section of the website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Child Care Provider MPS will be used in addition to the Cost of Child Care Study conducted by McKinley Research Group, recommendations from the Governor\u2019s Task Force on Child Care, Federal Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) rule changes effective April 30, 2024, and other new Alaska legislation to inform and revise future Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) Rate Schedule Changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Proposed CCAP Rate Schedule changes are required to go through the regulatory process, which includes a public comment period and public hearing prior to making changes.
