The Child Care Bill represents one of the largest state investments in child care in Alaska’s history, with significant annual increases earmarked for expanding child care assistance and supporting business tax credits. Starting from FY26, these provisions will directly benefit thousands of Alaskan families by making child care more affordable and accessible.
