thread’s Fairbanks office, providing child care assistance for the Northern and Southeast service delivery areas, currently located at 1949 Gillam Way, Suite G, Fairbanks, AK 99701, is moving locations. Please note the new toll free phone number: 800.278.3723. Office hours will remain the same. Effective July 30, 2024 the new address is as follows:

thread’s Fairbanks office provides services to families and child care providers located in the Northern and Southeast service delivery areas. The Child Care Assistance service delivery area map has been attached to this broadcast. The program does not need anything from families or child care providers for this change to occur.
During the move, thread will have some office closures, but will be accessible by phone and email. There will also be a drop box available to submit documents. The office schedule during the move will be as follows:
July 30, 2024 – The office will be physically closed and staff actively moving to the new location. This will be the last day the drop box will be available at the thread Gillam location.
July 31 – August 2, 2024 – The office will be physically closed, and staff will be working to set up the space to be open to the public. The drop box will be available at the new location from 8am – 5pm Monday through Friday at 542 4th Avenue, Suite 226, Fairbanks, AK 99701.
August 5, 2024 – The office will be physically open to the public at the new location of 542 4th Avenue, Suite 226, Fairbanks, AK 99701.
If you are not a CCAP participating, or potential CCAP participating family or child care provider residing in the Northern or Southeast service delivery area, please disregard this notification as this change is not applicable to you.
