Strengthening Families - Free for Learn & Grow - view details

Strengthening Families Protective Factors are new framework for child abuse and neglect prevention and promoting optimal child development. The protective factors shift the focus of child abuse and neglect prevention efforts from family risks and deficits to family strengths and resiliency. By recognizing and building on existing strengths within communities and families, we can support all families in providing a healthy, safe, and loving environment for children.


This training consists of five (5) sessions, and ALL sessions must be attended in order to receive full credit. No partial credit will be given.

Session One: Monday October 16  - 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Session Two: Monday October 23   - 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Session Three: Monday October 30 - 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Session Four: Monday November 6 - 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Session Five: Monday November 13 - 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM



Free to early educators from a program participating in Learn & Grow. Please include name of program during registration to assist thread in identifying programs participating in Learn & Grow. 

If your registration fees qualify for the L&G fee waiver, proceed with the online registration process and choose  the "BILL ME LATER" option on the payment screen. After you have completed the online registration and opted for "bill me later", thread staff will then confirm L&G enrollment and waive all applicable registration fees. 


The cost for early educators from a program not enrolled in Learn & Grow is $75
