2012 Anchorage CDA Cohort
The Child Development Associate (CDA) Cohort is designed for early childhood educators, both in a center setting working with infant/toddlers or preschool aged children, as well as for Family Child Care (FCC) providers, who are seeking to earn their CDA.
This series of classes will provide up to 134 hours of training that comes from a combination of class instruction, book work and competency assessments. Participants who attend will also have the ability to complete their CDA Professional Resource File during the course of the series.
The cost for this 8 month series of classes is $400. This fee covers the cost of books, classroom instruction, homework feedback, competency assessments and classroom consultation from an advisor. To secure your place in the class you need to pay at least $100 at the time of registration and an additional $100 before the February 25th class. The balance of payment is due by June 2nd at the midpoint of the class.
Each class will be held at the thread training room with the orientation class beginning on February 25, 2012 from 9 – 11 am.
PLEASE NOTE: It is recommended that cohort participants have previously taken the Overview/Planting the SEED of Success class. Also, classes must be taken as a cohort; you may not sign up for classes individually. Please see attached class schedule for class dates and topics.
