Family Child Care Super Saturday

Tom Copeland Super Saturday

 Tom Copeland, the nation’s leading trainer, author and advocate on business issues for family child care providers since 1981, will be partnering with thread to facilitate training in Anchorage on June 1st and 2nd and in Soldotna on June 4th.

June 4, 2011 from 9:30 am – 4:30 pm*

 Topics covered:

  • Master Record Keeping and Tax Preparation – Participants will learn how to keep essential business records, claim proper deductions, and legally reduce their taxes
  • Coming to Terms: How to Effectively Use Contracts and Policies – Participants will learn how to establish an effective contract and policies and enforce their agreement with parents
  • Marketing Your Business – Participants will acquire knowledge and confidence to be better able to promote their business and succeed as a business
  • Reducing Your Risks: Legal and Insurance Issues – Participants will learn how to protect the children in their care, their property, and themselves from the increased risks of running a business

*Lunch is on your own with an hour lunch break included in the schedule 

All four sessions of the Super Saturday will take place at the Aspen Hotel at 326 Binkley in Soldotna
