Pyramid Model Foundations

The Pyramid Model Foundations Training is an evidence based prevention/intervention framework that prevents challenging behaviors and promotes healthy social and emotional development by supporting positive relationships, creating engaging environments, providing concrete teaching strategies, and if/when needed creating individualized interventions for children. The Pyramid Model Foundations training is designed to provide ECL providers with skills and knowledge to support the needs of young children. The pyramid framework includes four levels of practice to address the needs of all children, including children with persistent challenging behaviors.

This series consists of 5 sessions with training being held on: July 31, August 7, August 14, August 21, and August 28th.

All five sessions must be attended in order to receive full credit. No partial credit will be given.

Strengthening Families and Pyramid Model Trainings are funded by:

  • State of Alaska, Departement of Health and Social Services
  • State of Alaska, Department of Education & Early Development
  • Alaska Children's Trust
