Great news for families searching for licensed child care – making an informed choice just got easier!

Licensed child care facilities in Alaska are inspected regularly to ensure they meet certain requirements. Reviewing a program’s history of compliance with licensing regulations is an important part of making the right decision about the best options for your child.

Previously, the only way to get inspection and compliance history for a program outside of Anchorage was to contact the Child Care Program Office (CCPO) and request copies of the reports.

Today, you can visit the CCPO website and get inspection, investigation, and compliance information for all licensed programs in Alaska. In Anchorage, this information is also available through the Municipality of Anchorage’s website.

For a copy of a facility’s full compliance history, contact the Municipality or CCPO.
