Planting the SEED of Success: Foundations of Early Care & Education-Ketchikan-Southeast Region
This is a 9 week series: September 17th through December 3rd
September 17: 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
October 1, 8, 15, 22: 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
November 5, 12, 19: 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
December 3: 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
The SEED of Success provides an overview of the field of Early Childhood. This workshop provides a foundation for child care providers who are new to the field. This is an eight week series that touches on all eight of the competency standards required for obtaining a CDA. Participants will be expected to commit to the entire cohort. Participants will receive 32 hours of training upon completion of the series and the accompanying self-studies.
The topics will include:
Professionalism, Program Management, Safe and Healthy Learning Environments, Physical Intellectual Development, Families, Child Development, Observing and Recording Children’s Behavior, Social Emotional Development
