Anchorage CDA Cohort 2011
The Child Development Associate (CDA) Cohort is designed for early childhood educators, both in a center setting working with infant/toddlers or preschool aged children as well as for Family Child Care (FCC) providers, who are seeking to earn their CDA.
This series of classes will provide up to 134 hours of training that comes from a combination of class instruction, book work and competency assessments. Participants who attend will also have the ability to complete their CDA Professional Resource File during the course of the series.
The cost of the entire series is $400 and includes 134 clock hours of training, advisement, one-on-one instruction, and a set of books and a CDA packet.
Each class will be held at the thread training room with the orientation class beginning on February 12, 2011 from 9 – 11 am.
PLEASE NOTE: It is recommended that cohort participants have previously taken the 20 hour Overview class. Also, classes must be taken as a cohort; you may not sign up for classes individually. Please see attached class schedule for class dates and topics.
Cost, Registration, and Location Directions
Cost: The cost of the entire cohort, books, CDA packet and advising is $400

Please pre-register since space is limited. The class may be cancelled due to low pre-registration. Only those who have pre-registered will be notified by phone if the class is cancelled.
