Working with our partners and as part of the Safe Sleeping for Alaska's Babies (SSAB) campaign, thread
is estimating cribs will be ready for free delivery
to Anchorage-area early education programs during the last week of November, 2012

is partnering with Lowe's to offer free crib delivery to locations in Anchorage and Eagle River. For all other locations, contact firstname.lastname@example.org

Safe Sleeping for Alaska's Babies: Questions and Application!
NEW in 2012!! thread's Quality Initiatives are mini-grants to early educators to support professional development opportunities to advance the quality of their program through training, consultation and financial support.
The Individual Reimbursement Fund (IRF) offers a 75% reimbursement for certain educational expenses up to $500 a fiscal year (July 1 to June 30). Applicants must be enrolled on the SEED Registry. The IRF form must be submitted within 90 days of the training (after the completion of the training) to receive this funding.
Travel grants are designed to assist early educators in rural areas to be able to travel to training, such as conferences and workshops. The Travel Grant Application must be submitted and approved in prior to the actual travel dates.
