SCHEDULE CHANGE:

The March 15 testimony has moved to March 17!

Testify in Front of the State Senate Finance Committee on March 16-17.

There is an opportunity to testify and share your story with the Alaska Senate Finance Committee this Thursday and Friday, and we need your help.

The Senate Finance Budget Subcommittee have recommended funding for early childhood resources - specifically Best Beginnings, Parents as Teachers, and Pre-K - be cut 100% from the Department of Education and Early Development budget.

We are asking advocates for early childhood to testify in front of the Senate Finance Committee this week. Please ask them to support these important programs and tell them why they are important to you and your family. Sharing personal, individual stories of why early childhood services are important to you and your community is the best way to make an impact. Tell them how PreK, Parents as Teachers, and Best Beginnings have made a difference in Alaska.
